Our story

Welcome To Our Love Story!

Leo and I began our journey 17 years ago, thanks to some very impromptu matchmaking by mutual friends. It all started at the Happy Hour Cafe, where I first laid eyes on Leo.

5th of April 2006…Happy Hour Cafe… Barcelona beats Benfica… 2-0

First time we met

I vividly remember seeing him sitting across our table, looking undeniably handsome and very jersey shore-like.. with his frosted spikey hair and dare I say, a bit intimidating. Little did I know, Leo’s cousin Ruben played cupid that evening, assuring me Leo was single and passing along my number.

Funny enough, Leo initially thought I was a little snob and unapproachable, but once we got to know each other, sparks flew effortlessly.

We fell in love

In the summer of 2006 we made it official! And in case you were wondering, I asked Leo to be my boyfriend… and his answer was THANK GOD you asked, I was soo afraid you would turn me down!

Fast forward eight years, after endless nights of partying and having fun, and our love story welcomed its first chapter with the arrival of our charming son, Nicholas. We saw it as a gentle nudge from the universe to start building our family.

Two and a half years later, our darling princess Dahlia graced us with her presence, fulfilling our dream of having a daughter. And because our hearts were always set on a trio of little ones, five years after Dahlia, our youngest prince, Cristian, completed our family circle.

Throughout these 17 years, we’ve shared countless moments of love, laughter, and yes, the occasional disagreement. But with each passing year, our bond grows stronger, and our love deepens. We’ve learned, grown, and cherished every moment together, building a foundation rooted in love, respect, and unwavering commitment.

When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible

She said "Yes"

Leo and I always dreamed of taking that next step in our relationship, but as the years went by, the responsibilities of parenthood made the idea seem more and more daunting. However, on May 19th, during our annual trip to Mexico, Leo surprised me in the most magical way.

He had arranged a private dinner, complete with a personal chef and photographer, to capture the moment. Little did I know, our children were in on the surprise for weeks leading up to the trip and managed to keep it a secret the entire time!
With the sound of the waves as our backdrop and the warmth of the sand beneath our feet, Leo got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him.

It was a moment of pure bliss and overwhelming emotion, one that I will cherish forever. And to add to the magic, our children were there, witnessing the love between their parents and sharing in the joy of this special occasion.

With tears of happiness streaming down my face, I said yes to the man of my dreams, knowing that our love would only continue to grow stronger with each passing day
